Vega480 - I have been a Gamer for a very long time, playing both console and arcade games. First console game I played was Hang-On on the Sega Master System when it first came out. My Uncles had it and would let me play from time to time. I did not play the Atari system until it became Retro. My first console I owned was the NES. I remember thinking that part of the game play was trying to get the game to load up, blowing out the cartridge and system hoping to get it to load. Then after that the systems seemed to pour out from companies trying to get in the game. I owned many of them, up until recently had many of them still, but all but my new ones were lost in a move.

I also dabbled in comics from time to time, mostly for collecting purposes, but I did enjoy reading them before sealing them up. Best collection I had was the Death of Superman series, from the rise of Doomsday to the rise of Superman, yeah they brought him back. This collection and all my comics were also lost in the move. I never bought another comic after that, but still try to keep up with what is new in the comic world through the web and friends.

My love for cartoons led me to watching Anime as I grew up and wanted a more complex, meaning full series, but with the limitless imagination and range given by the animation process. Firs series I watched were Tri-gun and Cowboy Bebop, I usually like the watch only series that have been completed, that way I can watch them all in a row or at my leisure on DVD. Even full length movies of Anime and live action movies based on Manga I have been getting into also, anything from Ghibli Studios; the Death Note movies were great too. I have a huge fascination with the Japanese culture, both in the Films/Anime/Manga they produce and the people. Someday I hope to find the time to learn to read and speak Japanese to cut down on the wait to have movies and series subbed or dubbed to English. That is pretty much me, hope you enjoy the site and if you have any thoughts on things to add to the site feel free the use the feed back or post them in the forums.

JerryKid - I subscribe to all three areas that this site caters too (anime, comic, games). You can definitely classify me in the genre of people who have these interests and all that may entail. I figured I would share with those rare few who actually journey to this page and then read this far down the tales of my beginnings as each of the site's namesakes.

First, let us start with anime and manga. I began watching anime at a very young age and it's a good thing I did too, because I may have never gotten home from my first day of kindergarten without it. See at the time I was Robotech, great anime highly recommended, and as all anime fans will know we have our main character Rick Hunter. Well, at the end of that first day at kindergarten I was walking around with the bus stop feeling a bit overwhelmed that there were so many kids and buses to choose from to get on. Granted I was wearing my bus with my bus number on, but at the moment that was a bit much for me to figure out. Anyways as I wandered the crowd knowing I would never see home again, a bus driver stopped me and took a look at my bus badge. Come to find out I was on his bus and he introduced himself as Rick. I knew then all was well because how could Rick lead me astray. Forever indebted to anime from then on; even in high school when I took the ridicule from fellow buddies and a couple of girls I was digging at the time when they discovered I was into .those cartoons..  Funny since that was before anime became so hot like it is now and some of those same buddies all of a sudden are into anime and deny any actions they may have done in high school. One final thought on this topic is how awesome it was to take a college level course on the history of anime/manga. We did take some heat from fellow art history professors and students that did not think that course was of high quality, that anime was merely pop art and not real art. They did not like hearing that they said the same about Monet and Picasso.

Comics, I have learned not to think about how much I spend a month on comic collecting. I mean why should you when its so worth it. I do find myself at times though wishing I had more to spend on it. A trip to the comic store is always an adventure for me. It usually consists of me standing in front of the wall of comics and resisting the idea of just buying the whole left side of the wall. I started my comic reading with my brother at a young age, since he would buy them and then I would read whatever he got; which was the X-men. I then branched out and started to do Superman, Batman, and Spiderman. Even went with the Spiderman 2099 for awhile (yeah, interesting). I will say that these days Deathpool has to be one of my favorite characters. The humor in that comic is great. With the wave of comics to movies or tv, has been awesome. I come off as a freakin genius to everyone who is being introduced to these characters for the first time.

Becoming a gamer started with an Atari for me. With those great games of Pitfall and Eggomania (man I loved shooting that chicken). The biggest moment though in my gaming experience was on one fateful day called Christmas. Our family received a Nintendo. I still can remember so clearly my two older brothers hooking it up and pushing me behind them to peer over their shoulder as The Legends of Zelda came onto the screen for the first time. I am not quite sure how it was done without some sort of physical drug, but I was hooked from then on. Then there was this game called Final Fantasy and then it became a personal mission to own every system that a Final Fantasy came out on, so I could beat them all.

Well, if your still here reading just want to say I hope you enjoy the site and have some fun with it. Be sure to send in you recommendation for the site or a series/comic/game I am needing to try.
