This poll was inspired by watching a clip of a WoW clan spending some quality time planning out their strategy on how they are going to take on a horde of monsters, while one member sits idly by. Only to have this idly member jump up and rush into the room with the battle cry "Leroy Jenkins!"  Check the clip out in this post View Clip

Just got done playing some uncharted 2 co-op play and had to be revived by my partner more times then I got to return the favor to him. Made me think, 'wow, am is he that much better then me?' But then this poll came to mind and I realized that you would have to classify me as a rusher and my partner as a strategist. So my question is, does that make up a great team, that I'm out there taking more hits/risks, which in turn allows him to sit back/stay alive more then me? What are the thoughts out there, do I just suck more then him or is there some credit to a rusher taking some heat off the other?

I think it is a great partnership, with two rushers you might get done faster, but chances are you will die a lot more than needed. Two strategists would take forever, I know it takes me forever when I play single player. Staying back does not work well when you have to make it to a certain point to stop the waves of enemies, I will run out of ammo before I am forced to move forward.

Also this partnership is key to playing games like the Army of Two series, where one will gain aggro while the other takes them out from the side.

Good points. I know I take more risk and probably let my screen go a bit greyer then necessary knowing I've got a good safety net behind me.

But your style is fun too, I have caused us a few deaths too by getting an itchy trigger fingure and running out and going JerryKid on them. Then I die, you make it look easy.
