I loved the anime and found the manga to be even better.

I have the series on dvd, have not watched it yet. I seem to collect for series and movies than I actually cane keep up with. Maybe I should move it up on my list.

It's an interesting and funny look into a lives of several college students who join an anime/manga/gaming/cosplay club. I've got the first box set and all the manga. Can't wait for the second season to come out.

Is the manga that same story as the DVDs with more details or a separate story?

It pretty much follows the story in the anime, with some additional info. There's two volumes of manga that continue on after the anime stops ..so that was very cool to see the story progress a little further. It still ends a little abruptly, but it's great.
