Trophies Viewable Online

According to the Official Playstation Blog, starting 3/3/09, you will be able to view your Trophies online at Playstation.com, you will not be able to compare trophies to your friends on your friends list yet, that is slated to come later this year they say. I am just glad to be able to check them online.

This is awesome. Maybe now we can get a cool app for facebook like they have for the 360.

Now your just dreaming, lol. Depends on how Sony does the trophies on the site and if a facebook app can read them properly.

Even if they just update their portable ID with it and make the ID cooler at the same time would be nice. Then can just post that.

Definitely, there is a lot of room to add the trophies to the current portable ID. Or add anything, its way too big for just a little info it currently has.

Playfire.com, the current number one site to have a tag with your PS3 trophies shown, was given the OK to reveal what the new official Portable PSN ID will look like, check it out. Hopefully it is for real, I have not seen it on any official Sony site yet.

I think they need to add the ability to download queued demos and such in standby. Like when you turn off your system, it will technically shut off, no video out, but will continue to download and then completely turn off when done.

I was browsing some game info on the US PSN forums and noticed someone had the new Portable ID in their tag, so I went to update mine and found it was only the old one still. Thinking maybe he just shopped his own and checked where the tag was being pulled from and BAM! I noticed it was being pulled from the wonderful UK Playstation site, then a light bulb turned on, in the playfire.com site they mentioned that the SCEE gave them the go ahead.

Sadly Playstation here is not he same as the UK or Japan, here in the US SCEA rules what we have access to. But with the Unification of the PSN I was allowed to log in the UK site with my PSN ID and get the code for a sweet looking Poratable ID. Only took a few moments. Give it a try if you want http://uk.playstation.com/home/

So until SCEA Ctrl+C Ctrl+V the SCEE code used, the only way to get one is the UK site.

SCEA is playing catch-up this weekend in the way trophies will be viewable online in tha same fashion as SCEE currently. They are adding a bunch of good stuff and glad to see them get their act together, LIVE! Really has a great head start to this.
