This was not a surprise to me that there would be talks of making a Deadpool movie, what surprised me was that how much Ryan Reynolds wants it to be made and he star in it. After seeing him in his brief role of Deadpool in the Wolverine and also his many comedy roles in other movies, I know he would be a great fit for this.
Read through the interview that he did with IGN and pretty much sounds like a lock that this movie will be made if he has anything to say about it.
I hope this gets put into the pipeline and a script starts soon.
