Life Changing Game...

Have you played a game that changed your life, or views on games? With how fast games are progressing from what we used to play, have you played something that just WOWed you? I think that game that really WOWed me was Uncharted, it looked great and had a decent story that seemed on par with a movie and really made me attach to the characters. With the way they did the voice and motion capture made them more real in my opinion.

Has there been a game that really made you stop and thing back to how far we have come in game, first real game I played was Super Mario Bros. on the NES. Yeah there are graphical advances since then for sure, but nothing that really made me want to know the rest of the story. Another good one was Gears of War and Resistence, both of those got me hooked on the story enough to buy the ulitmate collectors edition of the sequel. I will admit I went overboard on Gears 2, I bought the set that came with the full size replica of the Lancer gun.

Well, I know this game changing moment doesn't really match up with what you are asking, but it is a recent game with a lasting change for me. I know completeing Call of Duty: World at War on Veteran has been the most satisfying completion of a game I've felt in a long time. Don't know how many time I cursed those blast malstorm of gernades and was about to claim impossible on 2 levels. But when those credits started to role, I was seriously happier then I've been about beating a game.
